About RAP!

Robin Aren is a producer, choreographer, and creator based in New York City. She launched her company Robin Aren Productions (RAP) in 2023 when producing Christopher Durang’s Tony Award winning Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike at The Bay Street Theater.

She is currently a Co-Producer on the Broadway musical How To Dance In Ohio. Robin is the lead, creative and executive producer of Wyld Woman written and performed by Isabel Renner and directed by Cameron King. Look out for our performance pop ups throughout NYC as well as Moon in Scorpio cabaret at Red Pavilion in collaboration with Cameron King. Other producing credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream: The Dreamer with Neo-Political Cowgirls at LongHouse Reserve, Comedy Barn series at Topping Rose House featuring Sean Donnelly and Ryan Reiss, A Quiet Evening of Dance by William Forsythe with Sadler’s Wells London, Aunt Sally’s Got The Squawks by Robert Summerlin at Tada Theater NYC,  and Dana Caspersen’s Project UNDER/STAND at Smith College and NYU. Robin co ran the VIP event experience at the 2023 Hamptons International Film Festival. Choreography commission credits include The Boston Conservatory, Harvard, The Museum of Fine Art, The Netherlands Choreography Competition, The American College Dance Association, Gibney Dance Theater, The Actors Art Fund, Battery Park Dance Festival and performances throughout Spain and Japan. She earned a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance Performance with an emphasis in Creating Performance from The Boston Conservatory. Additional training from The Forsythe Company in Frankfurt Germany, The Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan, San Francisco Conservatory, and Lauri Stallings’ GLOATL in Atlanta. Robin is the creator and executive producer of a perspective driven animation property for children. She’s also a member of the improv group- Bitches And Stiches. Stay tuned for more!
